Reduced corporate tax on IP profits

Profits derived from self-developed intangible assets are taxed at a reduced rate of 9% instead of the standard 25.8% CIT. Ideal once an innovation generates commercial returns. Often combined with WBSO.

Two complementary tax deductions for investments in energy-efficient (EIA) or environmentally beneficial (MIA) business assets. EIA allows 45.5% additional deduction on qualifying investments; MIA up to 45%.

MKB Innovatiestimulering Topsectoren R&D & AI track

Stimulates R&D collaboration between SMEs in the top sectors. The AI track specifically funds projects that integrate artificial intelligence into new products or processes, with vouchers and larger project grants available.
